WATER CONDITIONS
May 10, 2012 - The water elevation at midnight, May 9th was 1,016.7-feet, which is 6-inches higher than it was last Wednesday. The water level is predicted to rise 6-inches by midnight, Friday, May 11th. The water surface temperature has risen to the low to mid-70’s. Creek hollows and shallower coves are a few degrees warmer. The very back of Lost Creek was 80 degrees late on a sunny day, with some color.

Norris Lake Fishing Report

WATER CONDITIONS
May 3, 2012 - The water elevation at midnight, May 2nd was 1,016.2-feet, which is 1.7-feet higher than it was last Wednesday. The water level is predicted to rise 2.4-inches by midnight, Friday, May 4th. The cool surface temperatures of a week ago warmed considerably with sunny days which approached 90 degrees. The surface temperature on the Clinch side is 69 to 71 degrees; the Powell arm is 66 to 68 degrees.
WATER CONDITIONS
The water elevation at midnight, March 28 was 1,014.5-feet, which is 9.6-inches higher than it was last Wednesday. The water level is predicted to rise 4.5-inches by midnight, Friday, April 27th. Surface water temperature readings in the main channel dropped a few degrees since last week’s readings, influenced by nighttime air temperatures in the 30’s. Noon readings gave a surface temperature of 64 degrees over much of the reservoir, earlier this week. Upper sections were about the same. Creek hollows and shallower coves are a few degrees warmer.

The water elevation at midnight, March 28 was 1,013.7-feet, which is 1.2-feet higher than it was last Wednesday. The water level is predicted to rise 3.6-inches by midnight, Friday, April 20th. Surface water temperature readings in the main channel have been in the mid-60’s in the mornings and as high as 68 degrees by late afternoon. Upper sections are a few degrees cooler. Creek hollows and shallower coves are a few degrees warmer.
