Many of the artifacts include farming tools, rifles, hand guns, pottery, Indian arrow heads, crafts, dishware, textiles, baskets, hand saws, shoes, coins, locks, glass jars, living room, dinning room and bedroom displays. The museum is two levels and also features old photographs of Norris Dam and TVA. The upper level includes and old cash register, lanterns, craftsman tools and more.
The museum is also in walking distance from the 18th Century Rice Grist Mill and the Caleb Crosby Threshing Barn. Great place to spend a couple of hours with the family. Bring lunch for a picnic. Hiking trails are also available.
